The fast bowler from Pakistan, Naseem Shah, was dealt a severe blow mid-ODIs against Australia as he suffered cramps during the first ODI. Sources close to him say the 21-year-old bowler is in pain, but there is a good chance of recovery as there is enough time in the second game.
He had to retire in the middle of the over during his first spell due to cramps. Mohammad Hasnain finished his over out in the deep. He gave away only 39 runs during his spell in the match and took a wicket too.
On the batting aspect, Naseem scored 40 runs off 39 balls with one boundary and four massive sixes. Australia beat the Mohammad Rizwan-led side by two wickets. The green shirts will leave Melbourne for Adelaide tomorrow (Tuesday), as the second ODI is scheduled on November 8.
