Bafana Bafana starting XI: Hugo Broos takes no chance!

Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has named his strongest possible starting XI for the South Sudan match on Tuesday.

The two nations play their final Group K match of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers at DHL Stadium in Cape Town.

Kick-off is at 18:00.

Expectations were that certain regular players would be rested as Bafana Bafana have already qualified.

However, Broos did not want to take any chances against South Sudan as he named his strongest possible line-up.

Ronwen Williams starts to earn his 50th cap, becoming only the 30th player to achieve that with Bafana Bafana.

Fawaaz Basadien gets a rare start on the left-hand side of the defence alongside Rushwin Dortley, Siyabonga Ngezana and Khuliso Mudau.

Bathusi Aubaas and Teboho Mokoena will operate from the middle of the park while there are four attack-minded players in the team.

And those are Oswin Appollis, Thapelo Morena, Patrick Maswanganyi and striker Iqraam Rayners.

Bafana Bafana will play in front of a full stadium after all the match tickets were sold out just before kick-off.
