The 2025/26 Promotion Playoff was conducted on Thursday at the PSL headquarters in Parktown.
The purpose of the draw was to determine CLUB2 and CLUB3 of the Promotion Playoff fixtures.
Rules
In accordance with the Promotion Playoff rules, the club that finishes in 15th position (second from bottom) of the Betway Premiership will automatically be designated as CLUB 1.
With two matches remaining, Marumo Gallants occupy 15th place.
As a reminder, the 16th – and bottom – side in the Betway Premiership will be automatically relegated to the National First Division (NFD) and replaced by the winner of the NFD the following season.
Kruger United have been confirmed as this season’s winners of the NFD.
With one match remaining, Milford FC and Cape Town City FC occupy the second and third spots in the NFD.
