‘I’ll pray for him’: After some defect to Trump, Black male voters react to election victory
When Donald Trump reclaimed the White House in Tuesday’s election, he did so partly thanks to a surge in support from Black, male voters. Around 3 in 10 African American men voted for Trump, according to an AP exit poll, double the number that did so in 2020. With Trump now on his way back to power, FRANCE 24 visited a mostly Black neighbourhood in Detroit, where just days earlier Kamala Harris had been campaigning, to see how people there feel about his victory.
