Israeli airstrikes hit Lebanon as thousands flee south
Israeli strikes continued to pound Lebanon on Monday as the Israeli military warned residents in the south and east of Lebanon to evacuate their homes ahead of a widening air campaign against Hezbollah. France 24’s James Andre was in the port city of Sidon when an airstrike hit nearby, sending a vast plume of smoke into the air, he reports, while the roads have been jammed with cars as people flee.
