Kaizer Chiefs target two brand new central defenders

Kaizer Chiefs are keen to bolster their defence with two Betway Premiership-proven stars at the top of their transfer wish list.

Kaizer Chiefs target Ndlovu, Moloisane

According to Siseko Gwegwe, via Innocent Khabz on X, Kaizer Chiefs are targeting central defensive duo, Bright Ndlovu and Thabo Moloisane. Sekhukhune’s Ndlovu moved to Babina Noko in 2024, while Moloisane is a long-standing target after a string of impressive displays for Stellenbosch FC, where he’s an indispensable first-team regular. There have also been recent reports that Inacio Miguel is close to extending his contract with the Soweto giants.

Nkota could be a target for Kaizer Chiefs and Benfica

According to Soccer Laduma, the future of former Orlando Pirates winger Mohao Nkota has taken a fresh new twist with Kaizer Chiefs throwing their name into the hat. The Saudi side, Al Ettifaq, were initially keen to loan Nkota back to Orlando Pirates, but they’ve reconsidered. Nkota’s 2025-26 season in the Saudi Pro League has been underwhelming, with two goals and three assists in 17 outings. There are also persistent and contrasting reports on the futures of on-loan striker Khanyisa Mayo and long-time Chiefs fan-favourite, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo.
