Khanyisa Mayo hints at Kaizer Chiefs move!

Former Kaizer Chiefs transfer target Khanyisa Mayo has hinted at joining Amakhosi in the future.

Kaizer Chiefs are primarily focused on recruiting attackers in the up-and-coming PSL transfer window in January, 2025.

Meanwhile, one of the biggest targets in recent windows, Mayo has now hinted at the possibility of joining Amakhosi in the future.

MAYO OPEN TO JOINING CHIEFS IN THE FUTURE

Mayo stated that Chiefs will be his first choice if he returns to the PSL.

“Regarding Chiefs, yes, if I ever think about coming back home, they will be my first preference,” Mayo told KickOff.

Meaning, if he decides to return to the PSL then Nasreddine Nabi and Amakhosi will decide whether or not to re-visit interest in the talented attacker.

HE WANTS TO FOLLOW IN HIS FATHERS FOOT STEPS

Moreover, Mayo’s father, Patrick Mayo, was a key player for Chiefs between 2003-2007.

Therefore, Mayo has extra motivation to follow in his father’s footsteps. Furthermore, he feels that Chiefs are the biggest team in SA.

“It’s the biggest team in South Africa, and my dad played there,” Mayo added.

Finally, he went on to add that he see’s himself playing for Amakhosi in the future.

“So, I also see myself representing one of the top teams in the country,” Mayo concluded.

Therefore, he is considering a return to the PSL. So, if he does return, Chiefs, who were previously very interested in signing Mayo, would be his first choice.

DO YOU THINK MAYO SHOULD RETURN TO THE PSL? CAN HE BE THE ATTACKER THAT CHIEFS NEEDS?
