Lashes to lashes? SA make-up artist’s ad goes viral [video]
Killed it? A Jozi make-up artist has had social media users in stitches with her 'drop dead gorgeous' artistic skills...
A Johannesburg make-up artist’s advert has gone viral on social media, and it has nothing to do with her artistic skills.
Neo Tsolo from the Vaal has had South Africans – and even a few Americans – amused at her services.
VAAL MAKE-UP ARTIST’S AD GOES VIRAL
In an Instagram post, make-up artist Neo Tsolo of Neigh Make Up shared a post advertising her services. But this was no regular ad.
Neo posted a picture of herself on what appeared to be a funeral flier. The black and white ad featured a white dove and flowers, images often synonymous with when a person dies.
“Book In Peace,” the witty woman captioned the post, which was set to a sombre gospel track.
While the South African could not defend her questionable graphic design skills, she did say that her aesthetic work was “to die for.”
Take a look…..
In the comment section, the make-up artist’s followers joined in on the fun.
@radsybee: “Booked too soon.”
@thato_mosehle: “Face beaten to death”
@nhlanhla_pinky: “May your business fly high.”
@glossylegodi: “Lashes to lashes, blush to blush”
LASHES TO LASHES?
Poking fun at the ad was TikToker Christal Luster, who had a good laugh over the make-up artist’s creativity.
She joked, “When God gave us Canva and the Internet, I wonder if he knew we weren’t going to act right.”
