There has been a tremendous wave of support for Zohran Mamdani as the democratic socialist was elected mayor of New York City. It's a win for the Democrats, but what lies ahead is unclear. Mamdani will have to find the funding to carry out on his promised social reforms and Democrats will have to seen what direction they take ahead of the midterms.
