The Mamelodi Sundowns centre-back handed in a transfer request earlier this week after struggling for regular game time in recent months.

Mamelodi Sundowns defender Rushine de Reuck has joined Israeli Premier League outfit Maccabi Petah Tikva.

According to SABC Sport, De Reuck will spend the remainder of the current season on loan at the Israeli club.

Part of this deal is that it will be reviewed at the end of it in July as to whether or not he stays at Maccabi Petah Tikva.

“SABC Sport can confirm that Mamelodi Sundowns defender Rushine De Reuck will move to the Israeli Premier League on a loan deal,” reads the website’s report.

“It’s understood De Reuck has agreed to play for Maccabi Petah Tikva for the remainder of the season, with the deal up for review in July.”
