Friday’s strong training session here at the Hagley Oval included Pakistan’s team for the next T20I series against New Zealand. The specifics show that the national cricketers practiced in the nets at maximum capability. Under coaching staff direction, the group also engaged in multiple fielding drills.
Following their terrible ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 campaign in which they failed to win a single match and were last in Group A with just one point, the series marks Pakistan’s first assignment since.
Under freshly chosen skipper Salman Ali Agha, the T20I team arrived here on Thursday and slept before starting their preparations today.
On Saturday at 1 PM local time, the guests will participate in still another training session at the same place. The five-match T20I series is expected to start on March 16; the second and third matches are set for November 18 and 21 respectively.
Mount Maunganui and Wellington are scheduled to host the two last T20Is on March 23 and 26, respectively.
