Rapid Renovations Underway at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium

After the Champions Trophy, Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium is being renovated. To make room for a water tank and basement, enclosures were demolished. The first demolition phase should finish by September 30, 2024. Next, one storey will be finished each month until the building is done by December 31, 2024.

New pavilions and a drainage system will enhance the spectator experience along with structural modifications. Replace floodlights with LEDs and add digital displays.

To improve Pakistani cricket and amenities, three key sites are being upgraded before the Champions Trophy.
