SASSA sets children’s grant payment date for June

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has confirmed that all children’s grants will be paid on 4 June. This payment date covers the Child Support Grant, the Foster Child Grant, and the Care Dependency Grant.

Also, parents, foster parents, and caregivers who look after qualifying children can access their funds from this date at any SASSA-approved pay point, ATM, or retail outlet across South Africa.

Which grants fall under SASSA’s June children’s payment date

The Child Support Grant assists low-income caregivers who raise children under 18. The Foster Child Grant supports South Africans who care for children placed in their custody by a court order. Furthermore, the Care Dependency Grant provides financial assistance to caregivers of children who have severe physical or mental disabilities and require full-time care. All three grants fall under the 4 June SASSA payment date.
