A clip of a young Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu sharing his dream to one day play for the Springboks has resurfaced a few days after his record-breaking performance in Durban.
The famous flyhalf recently scored a hat-trick of tries in a game against Argentina, breaking the record for most individual points in a game for the Springboks.
The 23-year-old is an alumnus of the Bishops’ Diocesan College in Cape Town.
SACHA FEINBERG-MNGOMEZULU ON PLAYING FOR SA
On social media, a clip of a young Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu sharing his rugby dreams has resurfaced.
Speaking to Heart FM, the 14-year-old confidently shares his dream of playing for the Springboks.
Sacha shared how his favourite rugby player was Handre Pollard, a player he now has the privilege of playing alongside.

It’s not the first clip of a young Sacha that has impressed South African rugby fans.
In 2015, a then-13-year-old thanked his colleagues and coaches at the close of the rugby season. As captain of the squad, the schoolboy emphasised the importance of playing as a team, not as individuals.
SCHOOL BOY TO SPRINGBOK SUPERSTAR
Like others before him, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu is one of many Springboks who emerged from the Bishops’ Diocesan College in Cape Town.
During this time, the passionate young player was influenced by the school’s “rugby-dominant culture.”
Sacha would go on to play for Western Cape’s Stormers and captain the Junior Boks before landing a spot in the squad after being recruited by Rassie Erasmus himself.
The young star is now seen as a role model to young players.
In a special segment, he told Supersport, “I love being a role model. I had so many people whom I aspired to be like when I was older. Being that person for other people is a responsibility that no one should ever shy away from. It’s a responsibility that is God-given.”
He continued: “I don’t necessarily have everything in place myself, but if the main thing in rugby can stay the main thing and I can do my job on the field, that takes care of itself”.
