Former Stellenbosch FC striker Iqraam Rayners has found the net on his first match as a Mamelodi Sundowns footballer.

After finishing last season with 14 goals for Stellenbosch FC, Kabo Yellow signed the 28-year-old Michells Plain-born star. “???????????????????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????? ???????????????????????????????? ????????????????????????????????.???????????????????? ???????? ????????????????,” Kabo Yellow announced. “Bafana Bafana International Iqraam Rayners has joined The Brazilians on a long-term deal!”
GOAL ON DEBUT
Earning his first taste in a Sundowns jersey, Rayners scored the third goal as the Betway Premiership giants beat eSwatini’s Mbabane Swallows 4-0 in a CAF Champions League qualifier in Tshwane on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Katlego Mashego, believes that Rayners will put positive pressure on the existing strikers Peter Shalilule and Arthur Sales.
“It’s a good signing for Mamelodi Sundowns, top quality striker even in our national team. It’s a good buy, and it’s good for Iqraam as well. It shows that Sundowns needed a striker,” Mashego told FARPost.
“He got the edge; he’s where he needs to grow and become more competitive. He has the speed and eye for goals.
“I don’t want to get into the dynamics of how Sundowns need to play, but Iqraam being there, I think it’s also good for Peter Shalulile and Arthur de Oliviera Sales.
“Now there will be competition, whether they play together or if another one will be on the bench waiting for his opportunity to play,” the former Sundowns attacker concluded.
