The schedule of the eagerly anticipated Men U19 Asia Cup 2025 was officially announced by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on Thursday and is set to be an exciting confrontation between arch-rivals Pakistan and India on December 14.
The competition will be held in the United Arab Emirates between the 12th and 21st of December and will include eight teams spread across two groups of four. Group A consists of old time heavy weights Pakistan and India, and Qualifiers 1 and 3. Qualifier 2 will join Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan in group B.
Bangladesh is the champion of the tournament, as the country won the tournament last year by beating India in a final by 19 runs. India, on the other hand has been most successful in the history of the competition and has won seven titles.
The action will commence on December 12 when Pakistan and India will play Qualifier 1 and 3 respectively at the ICC Academy and The Sevens respectively. Groups will consist of three matches that each team will play, and two leading teams of each group will be moving to the semi-finals on December 19. The final of the tournament will take place in a grand finale at ICC Academy, Dubai on December 21.
