Ukraine loan top of agenda as world leaders gather for G7 summit
One of the main objectives of the imminent G7 summit was to achieve an agreement among leaders on a loan of to Ukraine, FRANCE 24's Philip Turle said, reporting from Italy. The deal is expected to involve a $50 billion loan for Kyiv, secured against the future profits from interest on 300 billion euros ($325 billion) of Russian central bank assets frozen after the February 2022 invasion.
