Outgoing Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) president Julius Malema is set to deliver the party’s political report at the third National People’s Assembly.

The elective conference will be held at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg from Friday, 13 December to Sunday, 15 December.

Outgoing secretary-general Marshall Dlamini said over 2500 delegates will participate in the People’s Assembly to select new leaders and deliberate on the party’s policies among other issues on the agenda.

Dlamini said Malema would lead the official program where party credentials will be adopted.

Dlamini said this would set the tone of the National People’s Assembly and outline its strategic priorities. 

“Following the opening address by the president, we will then present and adopt the rules, guidelines, and procedures to the People’s Assembly. We will also receive and adopt the credentials of the assembly, ensuring we proceed with legitimacy” Dlamini said.
