IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS

A. Yellow Level 2 warning: Damaging winds leading to localised problems for high-sided vehicles on prone routes, localised damage to temporary structures, loose debris blown around, and risk of rapid spreading of fires are expected over the eastern and southern parts of Northern Cape, south-western parts of the Free State, the north-eastern parts of the Western Cape as well as the north-western parts of the Eastern Cape.

B. Yellow level 1 warning: Damaging winds leading to difficulty in navigating at sea for small vessels and personal watercraft (e.g. Kayaks) are expected between Hout Bay and Cape Agulhas on Thursday morning

FIRE DANGER WARNINGS

A. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the eastern and southern parts of the Northern Cape, the extreme western parts of the North-west, the south-western parts of the Free State, the western parts of the Eastern Cape as well as the north-eastern parts of the Western Cape.
