This was confirmed by the league in a statement released on Friday night while encouraging those with match tickets to arrive early at the match venue.
The titanic clash will take place at Polokwane’s Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday with kick-off scheduled for 15:30.
The Peter Mokaba Stadium takes just over 45 000 spectators, but only 40 000 tickets were made available for safety reasons.

“Tickets for Saturday’s MTN8 semifinal fixture between Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates at Peter Mokaba Stadium are officially SOLD OUT.”
“Gates will open at 12h30 and ticket holders are requested to arrive early to ensure smooth entry to the match venue.
“Spectators who have purchased tickets online will be requested to display their tickets on their mobile devices. A4 printed tickets will not be accepted.
“The PSL is working closely with the South African Police Service and several other safety and security role players to ensure that the MTN8 semi-final fixtures are safe and secure.”
“As part of the stringent security measures around the stadium, people engaging in illegal behaviour such as ticket peddling will face immediate arrest. There will be no tickets sold at the stadium.”
“A limited number of tickets for Sunday’s semifinal between AmaZulu FC and Kaizer Chiefs (Moses Mabhida stadium) are still available at Ticketpro outlets countrywide.”
