Chiefs ready to hijack deal for Pirates and Sundowns target!

Already in the last week, Chiefs have been linked with Bafana Bafana attacking duo Percy Tau and Luther Singh. Ironically, if Chiefs are going to sign both, they’ll have to deal with Al Ahly for Tau and Singh. The Egyptian giants are currently the employers of the Lion of Judah, while they’re interested in his fellow Bafana Bafana international. The North Africans are thought to be ready to part ways with their number 10, but will demand the best possible price for his services.
Chiefs interested in Moremi
As they try and seal deals for Singh and Tau, it is thought Chiefs have an eye locally as well. This in the form of AmaZulu FC winger Tshepang Moremi. The player is currently one of the most in demand stars in the league with both rivals Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates interested.
It’s thought that Sundowns were leading Pirates in that race, but now Chiefs could add a spanner in the works. Soccer-Laduma reports Amakhosi have inquired about Moremi.
Battling Sundowns and Pirates?
“As of now we can say that Tshepang (Moremi) is the most wanted player at the club. Mamelodi Sundowns have already made an official offer. It seems they will have it tough from rivals Orlando Pirates and now Kaizer Chiefs. They have also made inquires about him. The club is still looking at the highest bidder which at first looked like Sundowns. But things are changing every day. You know how football business has become these days. So for now Chiefs have joined the race to have Moremi for next season and we have to wait until the end of the season which is just a week away to see what will happen,” said the source.
Sundowns and Pirates are definitely still in the mix, but imagine Chiefs sign Tau, Singh and Moremi?
