Guinea-Bissau's electoral body cannot certify results of vote derailed by coup
Guinea-Bissau’s electoral commission said Tuesday that armed men had destroyed most of the vote count and that it would be unable to publish the results of last month's election. The military took control a day before provisional results were to be announced and deposed President Umaro Sissoco Embalo, who was seeking re-election.
