Orlando Pirates have announced Azola Matrose as the eight player out of the Sea Robbers.

Following an extended pre-season that included a trip to Spain, coach Jose Riveiro has decided Azola Matrose, 21, is not in his plans. According to SABC, the Gqeberha-born left-winger is returning home to Chippa United.

“SABC Sport can reveal that winger Azola Matrose is on the verge of rejoining Chippa United following two seasons at Orlando Pirates,” Mazola Molefe reported.

“The 21-year-old signed for the Soweto giants amidst much fanfare having impressed in his first topflight experience with the Chilli Boys, that being the reason why The Buccaneers wasted no time in acquiring his service,” the note added.
