Iran goes ‘full dynasty’ with choice of new supreme leader
Iran named Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, a son of the country's late supreme leader, the Islamic Republic’s new ruler on Monday. Rouzbeh Parsi from Sweden’s Lund University said the choice of "going full dynasty" was not surprising, even for a regime that overthrew the Pahlavi monarchy in 1979 since "revolutions tend to replace what they destroyed with something very similar".
