Hurricane Melissa strengthened to a powerful Category 5 on Monday, with destuctive winds and major winds expected to intensify in Jamaica. Forecasted to make landfall on Jamaica on Tuesday, Melissa is set to be the strongest hurricane in recent history to directly hit the Caribbean island.
