Pacer Abbas Afridi confident before Australia matches

Abbas Afridi, named for Pakistan’s T20 squad for the upcoming tour of Australia, feels confident in facing the difficult adversaries, highlighting the team’s preparations to handle the tough Aussie conditions. Afridi told media during a Karachi training camp that the camp was crucial to players’ talents before the tour.

“This camp has been very beneficial. Afridi claimed they’re improving their skills to prepare for harsh Australian conditions.

Afridi, who played in Australia, believes his experience will be useful despite the tough circumstances.

“I’ve played in Australia before, so I’m prepared. We have strategies for our opponents, and I’ll do my best.”

In response to a question, Afridi said he wants to learn from rival players like Pat Cummins. Cummins is a tremendous player, and I’d like to learn from him during the series. Afridi said he is striving hard to become an impactful all-rounder for Pakistan.

I’ve always liked hitting and want to be an all-rounder. I practice nett batting even though my main profession is bowling, he stated.

He also lauded skipper Mohammad Rizwan for supporting younger players. “Rizwan always inspires. Young players like me appreciate bowlers who elevate morale even when they concede runs, he remarked.
