JP Duminy’s ex-wife, Sue Duminy, is officially engaged to her new partner, a Cape Town businessman. The retired Proteas cricketer and the blonde bombshell announced their separation in February 2024.
Sue has since alluded to the former couple being separated for several years before their split.
Sue and JP have been married for 14 years and have two daughters.
JP DUMINY’S EX-WIFE IS ENGAGED!
On her Instagram account, Sue Duminy, the ex-wife of JP Duminy, announced news of her engagement.
The content creator posted a clip of her partner proposing to her at the Afrikaburn music festival last week.
In the clip, Sue’s partner drops to one knee and asks her to marry him. She later showed off her diamond engagement ring.
She captioned the clip: “I said.. Yes???? When you meet someone who gets you on all levels, someone who makes you feel loved and alive just for who you are.. I love you, my amore mio”.
WHO IS THE NEW MAN IN HER LIFE?
Just a few months after announcing her split from JP, Sue Duminy went Instagram official with the new man in her life, Cape Town businessman Roberto Franco.
The couple enjoy travelling to music festivals, holidays abroad and working out in the gym together.
Sue shared of her new romance in an Instagram post: “When a man embodies true masculinity, it inspires a woman to step out of her masculine energy and into her natural feminine flow. When a man leads with clarity, consistency and creates emotional safety for his woman, she can finally return to her soft, feminine and playful side.”

SUE AND JP DUMINY: WHAT WENT WRONG?
Sue and JP Duminy’s divorce came as a shock to their followers. The couple had been married for 14 years and had two young daughters. They last appeared together at JP’s 40th birthday celebrations in April 2024.
In 2016, the couple spoke to Inspired Women Online about their marriage.
JP said, “Having God at the centre of your marriage and knowing that your foundation is rooted in him. In my experience, it is having a selfless mindset and understanding each other and giving each other the freedom to grow as individuals”.
When asked how she deals with conflict in their marriage, Sue responded: “Always remember why you fell in love with that person. And the most important part for me, pray together… Pray for each other, every day.”
