Vietnam wins Russia's 'Intervision' song contest, US contestant drops out
With artists from more than 20 countries, Russia on Saturday revived its Intervision song contest, which the Kremlin promotes as an alternative to Eurovision and a means to highlight "traditional values". Vietnamese singer Duc Phuc won the event with a song inspired by a poem about bamboo.
